We all care about something right? Maybe a little bit too much at times, but let's share some photos about the things and people we care about, to add some positive vibes :)
I know y'all grownups are gonna post pictures of your beautiful babies (which is part of why I'm making this post: babies are cute) but I want to underline that the pictures don't have to be what you care most about. Maybe just something you're surprised you even care about or the second best thing?
I feel like it's time to clean up the photochallenge shout-out list ( I sometimes feel a bit guilty getting shouted out after participating in something once and than getting reminded of my lack of participation in the next things). I'm also kind of curious how heavily the sharing is influenced the by the shout-outs :P
Like klein said not so long ago, the great thing about Hubski is that people here care...
He looks like a happy guy. I'm sorry he is not feeling well. I was just home and visited with my grandfather who is also not feeling well. He's battling bladder cancer and still says, "I can't complain," when asked how he is. He has become very frail and his memory seems to be slipping. He is the most influential person in my life. It's very odd to see him not strong and thriving. I hated to leave him and drive back to NC. Here he is with my son wearing his hat:
Thanks for posting this elizabeth. After the recent conflicts I had wanted to share some eyebleach or cute cat pictures just to kind of soften everything up again, but I couldn't figure out without just slapping up a picture post and that didn't seem totally justified.
this is a bit of a different pic to share - but it was the first thing I thought of when I read the title. This is a friend of mine. This photo is from a few years ago when she lost her mom. Perhaps this picture will better fit a "Grief" post... but follow me here... In this candid photo, I see a lifetime of a mother caring for daughters and of daughters caring for their mother. You could look at this picture and see sadness - but I see hope, life, love, and gratitude. In thousands of shutter snaps - I don't think I've EVER captured a photo as wonderful as this.
My console. Worked my butt off for this little guy. This book my friends and I made. When we went to Japan we had all this info, train schedules, itinerary, ect. So we printed it into a book. But we also included tons of inside jokes, puzzles, sudoku, ect. Kept us busy during the flights and train rides, and is just full of memories. This is the sketch for the cover art my friend did. He Google earthed random streets in tokyo to get the background, and while we were there we noticed some of the same ads as in the book! It was 2 am, we were all drunk, but after a multi block chase we found the exact spot he had looked up in Seattle, thousands of miles away. Was such a special moment from an amazing trip.
My outfit for tomorrow. I care about myself, my appearance, and what kind of person people perceive me to be. I want from people respect, friendliness, and maybe some small talk/interaction. I love looking and applying some things from the different styles that other people have, and hope I can have an interesting style for someone else to look at and add some elements of it to their own wardrobe. Style is not the thing I care about the most, but it is something that takes up space in my mind some times during the day.
Not a photo, but here's my dog and me caring for a lost bunny we found.
Well spotted! There's a little tuft of him in the second picture, too. He's a sheepdog and can't really handle being more than a few inches from his "flock"...
I care about my own well being and making beautiful faces while doing so. Here's me at my most recent powerlifting meet: Another would be time spent with my friends. We'll take day trips around Arizona to do some photography and just hang out. Our last trip took us to Bisbee, here's one of my favorite shots from the day:
How do I post the pictures here? I can't seem to figure out from mobile! Edit: http://postimg.org/image/mb64k557b/ My most recent trip to Xing Jiang, it's a picture of Heaven's Lake. I never usually have the chance to travel with my father, as he was always so busy, so this trip is definitely going to stick in my memories. I don't know when I'll have another chance.
Yay I was trying to find a way to slap this up here but I didn't have an interesting article to go with it. My little brother is all moved out of our childhood home and is starting his degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management (hilariously pronounced Eat-Em). This is huge because we weren't certain he was going to be able to do the whole independent living thing but he's taking it in stride.
Here's my previous post on the program. There are other things I care about but this one is top of my list right now
