Right now I just use the Pocket Yoga app, I love it because of it's simplicity and basicness.
I find my solitude in yoga at the moment.
Miss Spitfire by Sarah Miller. What a neat little book that portrays how hard it is to learn with troubles like blindness, deafness, etc. I love the personalities the author describes for each character. It really is a book where I feel like I'm inside the book.
My outfit for tomorrow. I care about myself, my appearance, and what kind of person people perceive me to be. I want from people respect, friendliness, and maybe some small talk/interaction. I love looking and applying some things from the different styles that other people have, and hope I can have an interesting style for someone else to look at and add some elements of it to their own wardrobe. Style is not the thing I care about the most, but it is something that takes up space in my mind some times during the day.
As of right now, hiking and yoga. The freedom that both give me is amazing. Hiking fills my adventurous and visual-excitement needs, while yoga fulfills my physical and mental needs. Don't get me started when I mix hiking and yoga. That is something I definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.
I'd like to learn how to love an activity enough to be able to stick with it for more than a few months/years. I'll keep trying things until one sticks until then. Right now I'm trying to stick with Yoga
As mostly a lurker, and reading through it once, the idea is neat. I like it. I'd be more willing to share Hubski with friends, and make a group for us to all share cool things in. If I get your thinking, it'd be like a group message, but it has two layers, the post, and the text. The idea is very lovely at first sight. I'd like to see how the higher-ups think through and inspect this idea. mk
I'm doing pretty well myself. Remarkably, I've successfully been saving some money and that's a bit exciting for me. More excitingly, I have a few days coming up where I'm going to do some fun stuff. Tomorrow I hope I find a fun hike with my sister. Next month I hope either me or the guy I'm interested in has made a move. In five years I hope I'll have a home I can do some serious interior designing and decorating with.
Good: balancing priorities Bad: over-thinking situations
I'd like to ask a question about headphones, also. I have a pair of V-Moda Crossfade LP2 headphones and they sound pretty good to me, but I'm not an experienced headphone listener. My question for you is, have you had experience with these? Am I missing out on good sound quality or are these headphones a decent pair?
I love the spoon parable of Heaven and Hell. Hell is a room where everyone sits at a round table, all with 5 foot long spoons and a bowl of soup sitting in front of them. They starve and are hungry as they are unable to get their own spoon into their bowl of soup or mouths. Heaven has the same setting as Hell, but instead of trying to feed themselves, they feed one-another. Everyone is happy and full because they serve each other.
My dream job.... Probably a tour guide that takes people around the world to different places. Or the boss of one or two shave ice shacks. Or a professional snowboarder that chases an everlasting winter.
I don't watch much TV, but my dad got me hooked on Hannibal (the newest one). The cinematography is wonderful and the plot is interesting and keeps me on my toes. Also the horror aspect is pretty freaking sweet.
I have gone out and spent time with some good friends, which is quite a huge step in the right direction for me. It makes me feel good inside.
