This may not meet immediately meet your criteria, but I took it this morning and I thought I'd share it- I'm by no means a photographer and just noticed a neat moment. This is Central Park in the heart of Manhattan. Here you see a beautiful wooden bridge leading to the trees, an explosion of sunlight and then two dissonant pillars of metal in the foreground. You may feel "Urban" over the muffled protests of Nature. Nothing quite fits, its all fenced in and paved over.

Two pictures from Hong Kong: one because I think it's a nice view, the other because of its implication: The second picture is of Tseung Kwan O, known for its crazy densities. The picture I took covers more than 200,000 people. That's insane.
This is a combination of three photos I've taken of the Washington Square Arch. I edited them together in the Brushes iPhone app. Direct link is to instagram so sorry for the poor resolution.
Yes, it's exactly how it is. Wide streets and massive Soviet buildings. Minsk is lacking small streets with little coffee shops and cute boutiques that make al the charm of Europe. I'm probably missing out on a lot since I don't know anybody my age here, but so far the city has been quite cold and impersonal. (The gray weather probably isn't helping either). I would place Minsk in the "interesting" category in my mind because it really feels i've been transported to late Soviet era. I'm definitely enjoying my time here :)
Bike art in Montreux, at the Jazz Festival. Sorry for the quality. Very urban place in that while it's mostly in the middle of nowhere, it's built on a slope and thus very compressed. Also rich as fuck. EDIT: hubski will not allow my image. Maybe if I do this? forwardslash, sorry to bother you again today, but hubski still has an issue embedding .jpgs with anything on the end of the url. This wouldn't be a problem except imgur adds '?1' to everything you edit there. Also my baffling markup issue is still not fixed as far as I can tell.
I fully expected there to be edge cases that I didn't think of when I did this, so lots of messages about stuff is a bother, don't worry. I just pushed a fix which should allow for embedded images with stuff like '?1' on the end.
