I’ve been fairly unplugged, so I apologize if this had already been covered...
But seriously? “BE BEST”? The late night talk show hosts roasted it pretty thoroughly. My wife and I kept asking - wait... is this really a thing? They’re making this up for jokes, right?
Nope. It’s real. It’s what it is...
My deepest, greatest fear for the United States is when this administration passes, we will have no motivation to raise the bar again and our country will forever have absolutely no expectations for a standard of authority and leadership. I know we've had dumb Presidents before, but I haven't lived through them to know just how dumb everything was. In hindsight I'm probably being naive in thinking that the characteristics of the individual have any influence on their election in the first place.
You're young. We went from "fool me twice...shame on... won't get fooled again" to Obama and the relief washed over us like a warm shower. The rednecks never accused Obama of being dumb. Secret muslim? Married to a gorilla? Cowardly vanguard of the New World Order? Surely. But never dumb. A Democrat will get into office and Tomi Lahren will tweet "LOL president Pocahantas misspelled szyzygy what a moran!" but it will be back to the noise floor, where Ted Nugent is a washed-up buttrocker rather than a guy who takes pictures with the President.
I think Kimmel did it best (and I can't find the youtube link) wherein he explained "crooked Hillary", and "Crazy Bernie" and all of the other names President Trump has called people couldn't come up with as good of an idea as Melania.... about cyber bullying... PRICELESS.
at least somebody in the administration is trying to do some good, even if the name is dumb
Today, I will be best! In this new age, grammar rules can be thrown out whenever we want them gone! So be best tomorrow, today, yesterday and future. The White House these days really likes to make people laugh even if it was not their original intention
