Who's down for some IRC to bring in 2016? I've got friends coming over but I should be free to chat tomorrow (1/1/16!) at around 1pm CT, if that works for people?
Possible topics: 2015 wrap up/review, 2016 goals, the meaning(lessness?) of the New Year, or other suggestions.
Shoutouts shoutouts:
lil _refugee_ Meriadoc arguewithatree Quatrarius nowaypablo ButterflyEffect coffeesp00ns am_Unition flagamuffin shibbotech demure OftenBen and anyone else! (Sorry if I forgot you, I'm just copying from an old list.)
Someone wants to be you? That's kind of flattering. Edit: My first alt. choice would be "da mure"
Does someone know your password? The only way I was able to pass through to the embedded Hubski IRC (the link is at the bottom of this very page that you're currently viewing) was by clicking the "I have a password" box and then entering my Hubski password. There is no "demure" in the current listing. Other technical issues aside, I think you're clear to throw your native username's hat into the ring.
I'm super stupid busy still, but I might be able to sneak some procrastination in at that time. I'd be down
No. It means you get a reset packet from the server. This happens when you tried to send the server some data, but the server doesn't think it has an open socket for you. It means something along the lines of "who are you and what are you babbling about? maybe you should start from the beginning..."
50/50 chance I'll make it, sorry, wish I could offer better odds.
i'm probably in. I'm ALSO going to be on the new IRC this evening if anyone else has no new years plans.
Ouch. It's going to be at 5 AM here... I'll have to take a rain check on this one. P.S.: My bad. This is the first time I heard about Central Time. I put "1 pm ct to cst", the result was 5 AM. Using the proper abbreviation (cst), I got the correct answer (5 PM) and after learning what CST is, it checks. As you see, I'm bad with timezones. So yeah, I'll probably be there.
