Oh! What's that? You don't want ukuleles? Too bad! I'll give you more ukuleles than you can handle! Just remember, you brought this on yourself.Wayward arrives, shoving your ukeleles and bearded men in plaid out of the way to bring you the funk you don't deserve, but certainly need . . .
I can't believe Over the Rainbow has over 48 million views! I am responsible for about a dozen of them. But then again this TED Talk with a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody has over 5 million.
lol. Can't say I am a huge fan either but I would listen to someone playing Bohemian Rhapsody on a huge fan if it sounded like that guy's version!
Imma stealing that from them. Classic pithiness.
I'm sorry. I'm too busy rocking out to listen to your nonsense. My friend: "Ukeleles: twice the quirk with half the work!"
Got back into old-style punk this week: The only song that I can play from memory: One of my favorites from the Ramones (and my favorite from them that I didn't grow up with): Been hitting the 8-bit remixes again too; here's Rush 2112:
An odd wee ditty but I found myself enjoying it. Some basic electro/pop shiz. Mmmmm yessssss. Summer is coming, and so am I. And with the summer comes my kick to the nostalgia song. If I still smoked weed, it'd probably be to this. I'll never understand what it is about this that gets me, but it does.
I'm unreasonably excited that you're a John Dwyer fan.
I'll confess, I know nothing about John Dwyer - I just heard this on the radio and liked it a lot.
This piece is the subject of a paper I'm writing: that probably sounds dull as fuck, but it's actually got some interesting story to it, some intrigue. KB gave me a bunch of stuff, and I've been listening through a lot of that too, picking out what sticks. trying to find good stuff to listen to while writing, doing transcription work.
Listened to Miley's new album for the first time a few days ago with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure if the album has been talked about on hubski, but it has a naive 'yoshimi battles the pink robots' vaporwave sound that hits so good, I would urge anyone to set aside preconceived notions about anything miley cyrus and check it out, it's a child's experiment gone wrong that ends up effortlessly sticking to you.
I have a couple of friends finishing albums and I was lucky enough to listen to early mixes last week and the week prior. As for other music, I haven't listened to much. I have had this song stuck in my head for a couple weeks. It's amazing. Love songs don't get much better.
