I would guess at this point, depending on how much I decide to keep in, we're either 3/5 or 3/4 towards the end of this thing.
THANK GOD, AMIRITE?
GUYS IM GOING TO TRY AND BE NICER I PROMISE I mean, I'm not gonna stop arguing and standing up when I think I need to stand up. (My dilemma.) I like to think I've spent the past two years or so honing my debating skills - learning how to stay focused in a discussion and recognize when your debate partner is throwing red herrings and foul plays, mostly - and I'd like to continue to get better at it (though it mayn't help my personal relationships, it seems - but that means I just need to find someone who can argue well) and I'm terribly tickled by how I'm presented in Hubskina, and I do just totally get emotionally engaged in Hubski and maybe a little ... Well, defensive isn't the right word but... But... But NO ONE OWNS HUBSKI ALL RIGHT, and PEOPLE WHO DISAGREE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PEACEFULLY COEXIST, and damn me if I'll drag down something I love, and and and dale Carnegie and stuff. Klein suggested I take up a sport to work out my aggression! I'm working on a life attitude adjustment. But also seriously if anyone ever gets the brilliant idea to stalk or dox me imma make you really, really ragrets it.
Remember, the Ref in Hubskina is a characterization of 8bit's idea of who you are based only on your interactions here. There's a ton of subtlety lost at every step. Who we think we are doesn't always align with who others think we are, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Haha, yeah. I meant to quote that in my response but forgot, so thanks for putting it out there :) I do enjoy it, and my personification in Hubski as a whole - so 8bit don't feel any way about that - but I'm also trying to be nicer in life in general. I've allowed myself to feel far too negative about things, like my job, which is really incredible and affords me SO MUCH more than other people in terms of freedom, etc - and I need to be positive.
Yep, pubs are for the crappy days as well as the days worth celebrating. It's when you start heading to the pub on the "average" days when you might want to consider whether or not you have a "problem." That said, I can't help it if I happen to find something worth celebrating every day.
Ehhhhh. Both games aren't nearly as good as they used to be because 20 games have already done what they did better since they came out. Everytime I play Half Life I'm a little less impressed by it because of that. Time is eroding it's hype value. Still a fun game, but I wouldn't fight you to the death defending its honor like I would a game about a certain boy and his horse.
I confess that I haven't been keeping up with Hubskina for a few chapters now. It's still the talk of the town (town? is Hubskina a country, island, universe? I feel bad for not knowing) and I kinda want to pick up from what is current.
Any way we could get a sort of here's-what-you-missed/updater/summary of what's been going down? I last checked in some weeks ago and I was on some sort of ship, on a voyage with kleinbl00? Holy shit!
Are you seriously asking for Cliff Notes for Hubskina? Each chapter takes like 7 minutes, max, to read.
Darn, you're right. Well there you have it, eightbitsamurai, your writing is about to be the first non-Cliff Note or Sparknote-ed book with chapters in it, of this school year, that I will read and not hate. Congrats! and a special congrats for it not being the Scarlet Letter. Because fuck that book.
noway - I'd like you to get started on the Hubskina Cliff Notes. The plot, confusing as it is, de-fucking-mands it! Here is a typical Cliff Notes Organization: I suppose we can take it on as a group.

Aye-aye, Captain!! You'll hear back from me on this next week.
lil, I've just completed chapter 20. I thought I'd stop and begin formatting the document with which to begin PabsNotes. Tell me the best way to do this because I am not spending spring break doing 27 chapter analyses, as good as this crazy story is.
