- EVERY DAY I will post a theme throughout December and it's my hope that we can all participate. Do not feel intimidated if you're not a pro or if you simply have a phone to take pictures with. I'm in the same boat. Past participants (Let me know if you'd like to be removed or added):
Elizabeth, this is such an awesome image. Have you been taking photos of late? I haven't seen anything from you in a while and your really do have a great eye for it. You ought to rekindle the photo-challenges. Hell, even 1 or 2 a month would be fun.
aww thanks for that, i've been missing the photo challenges lately too :) I've been really overwhelmed with school, but now that exams have been over for a week and i've had my time catching up with friends i'll get it going again for a while! not many pictures taken lately but i should start again too! YAY SUMMER!
Awesome! I'll definitely play my part. I find that without a "challenge" I don't really take photos much. You really do have a gift for it though.
Damn straight. We had about 10 of them we nurtured for 5 years, I think only one ever re bloomed.
Is that your ride? Sweet wheels! If it's not your ride, is it the ride you would like to have, if you had your druthers?
That Dino was pretty cool. And an old Ghibli I saw there was amazing. I never saw much appeal in the hot rod musclecar scene, and modern exotics tend toward the spaceship asthetic. I have a strange soft spot for BMW 2002s, and only a confirmed contrarian would pan the 911. But I'll pick la sana gioia del vivere over Fahrvergnügen any day.
There's nothing strange about a soft spot for a 2002. Those cars are classic. Interestingly, Alfa Romeo is trying to break back into the US. They have such an unmistakable look that teeters between fun and elegant; I suppose in that way they're just like Italian food. I love a lot of classics, but if I had to choose a current favorite, it would probably be the BMW 6 Series gran coupe. To me, the lines on that car are as close to a work of art as any car I've ever seen. A colleague of mine drives a matte black one that I get to stare at in the parking lot from time to time. I'm not normally prone to jealousy, but everyone has their breaking point.
