Is that your ride? Sweet wheels! If it's not your ride, is it the ride you would like to have, if you had your druthers?
That Dino was pretty cool. And an old Ghibli I saw there was amazing. I never saw much appeal in the hot rod musclecar scene, and modern exotics tend toward the spaceship asthetic. I have a strange soft spot for BMW 2002s, and only a confirmed contrarian would pan the 911. But I'll pick la sana gioia del vivere over Fahrvergnügen any day.
There's nothing strange about a soft spot for a 2002. Those cars are classic. Interestingly, Alfa Romeo is trying to break back into the US. They have such an unmistakable look that teeters between fun and elegant; I suppose in that way they're just like Italian food. I love a lot of classics, but if I had to choose a current favorite, it would probably be the BMW 6 Series gran coupe. To me, the lines on that car are as close to a work of art as any car I've ever seen. A colleague of mine drives a matte black one that I get to stare at in the parking lot from time to time. I'm not normally prone to jealousy, but everyone has their breaking point.
