BWAHAHAHAHAHA... full disclosure - I saw Barry Lindon AFTER watching a pretty decent doc about Kubric. Hearing about how he shot the film, and the sneaky ways in which he acquired stupid fast lenses to shoot by candle light, etc. made the film more watchable. I'll give it another go after Paths of Glory.

I will try to make it, maybe I'll get out of work on time and in time to be home for this. This will be my last Wednesday viewing for a while. OftenBen remember how we talked about Star Wars once a week? Turns out one of the local beer shop/bar hybrids out here is screening a Star Wars movie once a week, every Wednesday night, culminating in them opening at 7am (with beer shortly thereafter) and doing a marathon of all six films.
