Oh fine, I'll start.
Since I was a little'n I've always been able to regurgitate food, some foods easier than others. A bowl of ice cream? I can make the stuff slide right back up with ease. After a steak often big bits come back up which I then chew on again for a while. The best thing is, as long as it isn't too long after I've eaten, then it tastes just as good as it did the first time round! I think I share some genes in common with cows.
Ok, on to less disgusting matters. I seem to be oddly drawn to the sun. If it's a nice evening and I'm stuck inside then I almost get a feeling of depression as the sun sets and I can't see it. There's something so stunning about sunsets which I am absolutely drawn to. I go outside just to watch it go down so peacefully as the sky turns orange, every sunset different. In mornings I often find I wake up happy if it's sunny and dull if it's cloudy.
Well there's a couple of things. Let's hear yours.
P.S. I'm relatively new to this community so let me know if this is too Reddit-esque and I shall refrain from these type of posts in the future.
Whoa. Are they stuck like that, or can you move them a bit more?
I can move them a bit, but only momentarily. How they are in the photo is their natural resting position.
They've been like that since I can remember. What I've realized is that it's a lack of skin that's pulling the top portion of my pinkies downward. I had dinner at a friend's house years ago and his father (a surgeon) told me he would be able to fix it if I wanted to. But, I like them.
if you pay close attention, you'll see that Bill Nighy has a similar finger situation.
I wonder if he tries to hide it. I couldn't find a photo that clearly depicted it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYCkFTyADJ0 at 1:52 he is walking and his left hand comes up. It looks like he's pointing, but actually his ring finger and pinky don't straighten. I could be totally wrong about this... but I've noticed it in a few of his films.

I can blow over a full water bottle. It might not seem like it would be difficult, but try it, I have only met one other person who could do it and only a couple others who could just move it a little. A full Dasani or Aquafina water bottle will work just fine.
My right hip is noticeably larger than my left. Pretty sure this is because I grew up on a farm and used a pitchfork and shovel a lot during puberty and even before. The last 3 low back vertebrae of mine seem to be stuck and move mostly as one. When I walk I brace my knee for impact before heel strike, which gives me an interesting gait. I studied anatomy and movement patterns in school. I would be able to find little odd things about every one of you. We are all unique in some odd ways, and it can usually be explained by how you grew up and genetics. Gait analysis is a fun one to do.
Ugh my gait is totally uneven. My leg muscles are different sizes, I'm sure it's because of the way I walk. Thankfully it's the kind of difference that only the person who has it really notices. (You know, like when you stare in the mirror at that one thing you dislike about yourself and mentally magnify it so that you always see it, but no one else ever notices til you point it out?) I have been told I have a "cool swagger" though, which is...just because I walk funny. But none of us are symmetrical or even the same in the way we are laid out. It fascinates me, for instance, to think about how, while the body has a basic blueprint, it's more like a "Oh, this should go about here " than an exact plan. This usually comes up when I am looking at people's veins (when you can see them through the skin). Even on my two arms the layout is different, it is very interesting to think about everyone else's as well. Edit: OK, obviously, what I think about is also one of the many, MANY things that make me weird.
I'm a bit of a hypochondriac. Stomach hurts? Appendicitis. (I have a long and recurring fear of appendicitis; I read too many books where the protagonists got appendicitis as a kid. For the longest time I thought everyone got appendicitis at some point in their lives. Nope, turns out only like 10% of the population does.) Recently I've been afraid that I will choke to death on my own food, especially because while I have roommates they are not often home so I'm alone by myself and if I started choking, there would be no one around to thump on my back or give me the Heimlich (interesting side note, they are no longer calling it the Heimlich, but I can't remember what they ARE calling it). Or even to call the hospital. I end up chewing things A LOT. I've never done the regurgitation thing, though. Uh, also, the only dance I can do is the Twist. I like to take pictures of my bruises and put them on Twitter (too many people follow me/would find it weird if I posted them on Facebook). I think they're kind of fun and interesting. Often when I am drinking I start pounding on the table when I'm excited about what I'm talking about, and I find when I do that I actually end up bruising myself on my own bones so I get these neat circular bruises right below where my pinky joins my hands a lot. Also, I like to be really warm all the time or as much as possible. In fact, I'm most comfortable when I am just slightly perspiring. People think this is weird or gross, but I just like to be warm. Summer is my favorite season and I'm thinking about relocating to the South, eventually, job permitting. I don't think this is too Reddit-esque at all, by the way. Hubski is all about the discussion.
I think it's easier to get bruises when you've been drinking, something about blood being thinner? Not sure though! I do love the random drunk bruises, and figuring out how I got them. I think they are fun. Pretty colors and pokable. Last night, I was talking (vehemently, as usual) and hit the table with my hand so hard that a glass of water fell over from the impact. Pretty sure I've got a nice bruise coloring up now, unfortunately it's in a meaty and scarred part of my hand so I haven't been able to get a nice pic. Maybe tomorrow!
10% actually seems like rather a lot to me! And yeah, I heard about the Heimlich - apparently the name is copyrighted.
As for me, I'm not sure I can pinpoint what makes me weird, I just know that I am. We all are.Since I was a little'n I've always been able to regurgitate food, some foods easier than others. A bowl of ice cream? I can make the stuff slide right back up with ease. After a steak often big bits come back up which I then chew on again for a while. The best thing is, as long as it isn't too long after I've eaten, then it tastes just as good as it did the first time round! I think I share some genes in common with cows.
I can do this too. I never considered it weird though, I just sort if figured it was common. Is it a rare thing?
I have double-jointed thumbs and am undefeated in thumb-warring. Also, my sense of smell is very important to me. If I don't like the way someone smells (not to be confused with someone who smells bad, but of course I don't like that either) then I am less likely to be friendly to them. I always smell my food before eating it. I don't know when this started, but I'm told it's always been the case.
I have none of the intrinsic weirdness that some of you have - I'm a more normal kind of oddball, I guess. Probably the weirdest thing about me right now is that I walk around barefoot most of the time; that gets a lot of strange looks.
Yes! We've been having lovely weather here recently and it feels so good.
My own response would probably be that the door handle is probably less hygienic than the bathroom floor. And most guys don't wash their hands, either.
Yeah, in public. I do tend to carry around a pair of shoes with me, though, since in places like pubs I usually get asked to put them on.
There's a fair bit of broken glass, actually, but it's not actually as dangerous as most people expect.
Generally this is due to laxity in your ligaments. I have a similar issue. Especially in my wrists and ankles. The skin on your neck is a good thing though! It means you have loose superficial fascia. Tight fascia can lead to all sorts of issues, like muscle problems.
