Hubski- better than pizza

I haven't donated yet, thanks for the reminder. I'll have it raining singles on Hubski like a freeway toll both in Las Vegas.

Also, thenewgreen and mk, have you considered a monthly donation/subscription-y automatic-y option for people to allocate however much they may like to the site from their credit cards? 2 bucks a month from 10 people and youre 10% of the way to your goal.

Now that... could be a sticker...

Edit: Holy Crap... How did I not think of this before... two things I love a lot...

I have, but thenewgreen thinks it's too corporate.

Hahahahahah! Anyone that knows me on this website should know right away that this comment smells fishy. I'm a huge, huge YOOGE proponent of us having recurrent monthly billing set up.

Please make it happen, I think we would see a dramatic increase in support. I do it for NPR

Come on, steve!

You are defiling the good name of Max Headroom.

steve  ·  2987 days ago  ·  link  ·

sometimes great sacrifices must be made in the name of comedy...

(most hubski users just said "Max Who?")

(I stole the image from somewhere else)

(most hubski users just said "Max Who?")

And what a damn shame that is.

nowaypablo Quatrarius, you hip to the Headroom?

nowaypablo  ·  2986 days ago  ·  link  ·

I'm not! After a brief Goog, wtf?

lol, only the greatest cyberpunk TV show ever produced. I'm pretty sure the pilot's on YouTube if you're interested.

E: The original film and the pilot.

I got there the long way round (interest in Pirate radio > signal hijacking > this guy), but it still counts.

steve, are we . . . are we getting old?

steve  ·  2987 days ago  ·  link  ·

and how...

steve  ·  2987 days ago  ·  link  ·

All joking aside - I love the idea too. I know this has been discussed... but I think aside from thenewgreen thinking it is too corporate...

The current system allows for hubski to not actually handle/store the credit card info. It is securely passed through hubski to the payment processor.

If hubski STORES your credit card info - they then have to pass PCI audits and blah blah blah security blah responsibility blah hacking blah etc.

I think the powers that be are talking about it... but it's not a thing yet. hopefully some day.

We can with Stripe. It's just a matter of the doing. It will happen, despite thenewgreen's objections.
