Thats awesome! My wife is a music teacher and conducts several community Bands. It's amazing the energy that the older musicians bring to performances. I think it's their passion and pure enjoyment of playing together that brings that energy.

Monday night my a hose under my sink burst causing a large amount of water damage to my house. Now I have to move the wife, baby and 3 cats to an apartment for about 6 weeks to have it all fixed. Not really looking forward to that but what can you do, eh?

Ever get the feeling that you just want to take everything you own, pile it on the street, soak it in gas and watch it burn? Well I have that feeling. It's claustrophobic. But it's hard to part with my stuff. It's mine. Stupid brain.

I haven't been feeling sharp lately. Been drinking more. It helps.

Maybe I'm not not ready to be a parent. Too late for that now.

On a brighter note it's a holiday on Monday.

So after my baby was born I fell out of my exercise routine. Well I just did the second day in a row today and feeling pretty damn good about it. At the moment it's just 40 minutes of stationary cycling but it's a start. Anyone have any good anime recommendations? I typically watch 2 twenty minute episodes and just finished FMA Brotherhood so looking for something new.

Got tickets to a Mastodon concert. Getting tickets soon to Dillinger Escape Plan. And got some fore the Vienna Boys Choir. So got a pretty stacked concert line up for the new few months.

I suck at HS but I play it almost daily. Only advice I have it play arena if you want to get cards.

I made an ESB (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/style/66/). It was a kit. I have done the whole nine yards in the past but this was a gift. Making it is super easy. Clean everything, pour it in a bucket. Wait a week. Transfer to carboy. Wait a week. Transfer to bucket. Prime. Bottle. Wait two weeks. Drink. The most time consuming part is easily bottle cleaning followed by bottling.

I've made wine before from a kit as well. Process is pretty much identical to beer making. In Canada our booze are taxed to hell and back so making your own is more cost effective :)

Opened a few of my beer the other day. They turned out really good. They carbonated well which was my big concern.

Baby has decided to change her sleeping schedule and now stays awake most of the day. Which is kind of nice because when she does nap it's for 2-3 hours and I an get a match or two of LoL in :)

Trying to shift my sleeping schedule as well to start getting up 2 hours earlier to start exercising again. The baby through me off the rails and I'm fat again.

I was going to start this week but a deadline at work got pushed up a week but next week I'm going to head to the coffee shop for my lunch breaks and start the writing for my new game. Getting pretty excited to do some work on this. May build the game using Swift. Supposed to be getting formal training on it soon.

Got my beer bottled on Sunday finally. Now just to let it sit for 2 weeks.

Not much going on otherwise. Been trying to write the story for my new game idea but I'm still new to this whole parent thing and haven't been able to balance it well yet.

Gonna try to write the first chapter of the story and build a prototype. May just start with objc since that's my day to day language at work atm. Make sure it's fun first and the controls makes sense.

lol. Very cryptic! I want to make something like Lifeline but more involved. I wanted to hijack sms but I can't on iOS the way I want. So looking at a few other approaches. I may be able to get away with a bunch of native extensions but at the point I may as well do it native.

It is mobile. The issue is that I need some access to the device in a few ways I'm not sure if unity can do. It could easily handle all of the game. It's essentially a text based game :P But I've done some work in the past for GSN (Game Show Network) with unity a few years ago so I have so idea of what it can do :)

Hearthstone announcement tonight! that's pretty exciting.

Got a new game idea that is driving me crazy. Scratched the itch a little yesterday by writing the beginning and ending down. Stuck on what tech to use. Afraid I may have to use ObjectiveC. Not sure how help unity can handle what I want.

Also gonna bottle my beer tonight I hope. If I'm lucky I can prime the whole batch at once and not each bottle separately.

lol. I also liked as3. I did flash work for about 5 years. I was sad to see it go but was exciting to move to Unity at the time. Now doing ObjectiveC which makes me miss the as3 days :/
