Funny you mention this. Ever since steve posted about the young man building a cabin I’ve been watching lots of different videos on cabin building. It’s relaxing and inspiring.

If that interests you, can I interest you perhaps in Adam Savage figuring out how to build a Totoro costume? It has that same lovely combination of low-key problem solving, someone with charisma, and slow craftmanship that I like about Beau's vid.

Thanks for the suggestion. Years ago kleinbl00 introduced me to Miyazaki and my kids have loved his films. I’ll watch this with them. Awesome!

Adam Savage has pumped out A LOT of super good content during quarantine.

I haven't been following his channel much the past year, all I got algorithmically reccomended were unedited Q&As which I don't particularly enjoy watching. Which videos are you referring to? :)

I think one of the reasons I'm so excited about the channel now, is that: pre-covid, Tested was maybe 20-25% Adam Savage. He did some larger projects with less regular videos. But when the lockdown hit, Tested became 80+% Adam recording himself in his workshop while he talked and made things, so it was everything I had wanted from the channel.

He made a Rickshaw.

Modified fun props.

Reviewed tools, gadgetsand random shop items.

Done live LEGO build/QandA's.

Thanks! The more content to watch, the better these days. Have always enjoyed watching Adam more than the others, so it should be good stuph.
