Jeffery is on the short list for Attorney General.
Thanks to great journalists, like Julie K. Brown who works for the newspaper Miami Herald, the world can find out more and give justice to more of Epstein's victims. The Miami Herald obtained thousands of FBI and court records, lawsuits, and witness depositions, and went to federal court in New York to access sealed documents in the reporting of "Perversion of Justice." The Herald also tracked down more than 60 women who said they were victims, some of whom had never spoken of the abuse before.
One of the victims says Alan Dershowitz raped her and I don't know why this isn't a big story
Dershowitz is losing it, dude: Yes, Alan, let’s debate about whether or not it’s wrong to raw-dog a pornstar right after your third wife popped out your fifth kid, pay her for her silence, and then lie about it repeatedly. x2 (McDougal). And it probably is illegal. Something tells me we’ll find out in 2021. Dershowitz’s incredibly frequent and prolific defenses of Trump make more sense if we assume some Trump ally has kompromat on him. Could be the story you brought up, or something similar. Either way, he’s dragging Harvard’s name through the dirt. P.S. I hope you’re doin’ alright, amigo"Reasonable people can disagree about whether it's wrong to pay hush money to somebody to stop them from disclosing alleged improprieties sexually. Reasonable people can say that's wrong or that's right. It's not illegal," Dershowitz said.
Goodgoddamn. If you wrote this into the plot of a Jason Bourne movie, it'd get laughed out of the office. "That's too far-fetched, even for Hollywood! Bwa-hahhaha!" Imagine the lives each of those women have had to deal with since then. The type of mental damage that can do to someone so young... This, my friends, is why they make hollow-point bullets. For guys like Epstein.
The DOJ has just opened a new investigation into their previous handling of Epstein's case, and I imagine this piece played no small part in the decision. Hats off to Julie Brown and the Miami Herald, and props to Ben Sasse(?!) too. This is gonna turn up some naaaasty misdeeds if even some small sliver of the Herald's reporting is factual.
