There was a bar in my city that used to have a dada talent show thing. There was a girl who did a... dance? routine involving a metal codpiece, a die grinder, and Punish Your Machine. Her stage name was OSHA Violator. I would go to the Parts and Burlesque Revue, but I would be very disappointed if it wasn't in the same vein. The Parts and Burlesque Revue
The metal codpiece schtick originates with the Jim Rose Circus Sideshow, if I'm not mistaken. From there it spread to the Genitorturers and Impotent Sea Snakes (so named because they got a killer deal on a "KISS" sign from the Alive tour, if I'm not mistaken, but the "K" didn't work). The combination of "sparks" and "chastity belt" was such an obvious one that we got to the point where we'd simply say "keep the sparks off the side fills" and barely notice. Nobody was self-aware enough to make an OSHA joke, though.
In an attempt to work around this problem in order to program an AI to write Harlequin novels, a programmer first set out to teach an AI to understand love. Over the course of subsequent years following the success of the romantic pirate themed AI writing algorithm, a series of seemingly unrelated research experiments incorporating portions of the commercial sex book writing bot that were licensed out by the greedy developer lead to Skynet nukes every major city on the globe That was embarrassingly difficult to make semi coherent for what amounts to a throw away joke.
Vase Farts - in a garden maybe, but a greenhouse? Sex Your Eye Out! - This is why AI is over-hyped - it missed the obviously better "sex your eyes out".
From the "My Rear's On The Sexy" burlesque page: In the real world, AI sees eyes in pictures of cats, creates new Candy Hearts slogans like LUV 2000 HOGS YEA, and is obsessed with the word fart. Robots? They fall down. A lot. We dont have to worry about AI rising up to destroy us. We have to keep pulling it out from under the couch where it got stuck again. Artificial Intelligence has one true skill: Dada-surrealist comedy.AI. Artificial Intelligence. The term brings to mind things like SkyNet, HAL, sentient robots turning against humanity and trying to wipe us out. In fiction, AI is almost always ready to exterminate humanity at a moments notice.
