There's a question in here that I plan on asking to y'all once I've wrapped my head around it...
lil, I don't know how you'd feel about the music itself, but the lyrics are beautiful. Hopefully you'll agree. And if not, that's fine too.
Not yet, but hopefully the next time he plays in Seattle. Whom you are waiting for Whom are you waiting for? is the question I want to ask.Sometimes it’s hard to know
I imagine there's a lot of answers - if you want to tag a few more people. _refugee_ blackbootz galen nowaypablo but there are many others . . . Here's my answer: You are waiting for the person who is looking for you. Do whatever you can to make it possible for that person to find you.
Hmmm . . . I'm sure there's something to it when you say you're waiting for the person who's looking for you. But, I wouldn't say that. There are people looking for me who are not at all people who I want to be found by. I think we all have our own ideas of who we are waiting for. The clearer we can be about that, the more likely we'll find someone who will fulfill our heart's desires. I had a sense of who I was waiting for. I had ideas. I didn't know she existed until you and I found each other.
Mostly, though, I don't like waiting. You have to set off down the road. "No one treads without learning to tread - without learning how to tread by treading, without learning to remake, to retouch, the dream for whose cause the treaders have set off down the road." - Paulo FreireI think we all have our own ideas of who we are waiting for. The clearer we can be about that, the more likely we'll find someone who will fulfill our heart's desires.
I might disagree. Having search terms might occlude some or obstruct you from noticing who is looking for you. However, there are so many soul mates out there for all of us, a few search terms probably don't matter.
Maybe you and mivasairski would agree that in setting out for somebody you begin the quest to better determine, or revise, who you yourself are waiting for.
It always helps to make a lot of mistakes first. Pain, suffering, and abuse definitely help you quest better. I do agree with mski that it helps to have criteria..
Witnessed this with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. 10/10 would wait again. edit- also saw James Franco do Hamlet once.
me but with the godly physique of a famous statue in my (real) name.
I checked his Facebook. He said to message him, so I asked him when he'd be playing and he got back to me a few minutes later. so I wrote him back saying that I found out about him from hubski and sent him the link to this post. He wrote me back this morning awed at the posting on hubski. I will still be in Vancouver 4/27 ...I'm playing at Hotel Albatross in Ballard on 4/27!
