Right. He stood up there and basically said "I'm the biggest swinging dick in the universe." And dominated them. With bombast and bullying. How well do you suppose that will go when there are actual differing opinions being discussed?
Yelling, screaming and rude behavior are only effective when you have a receptive audience. More than half the country isn't buying what Trump is selling and to win a debate with a democrat he'll have to actually look intelligent. Trump can't look intelligent.
Apparently, he understands what monetary policy is, so that's kind of like being intelligent. Also, to the surprise of many, he isn't actively trying to destabilize the US. Also kinda smart.
I hope you are right, I really do. I think you are, all I'm saying is don't underestimate both him and the American electorates desire for bombast AND for an "outsider," particularly during this election cycle.
