These are all fantastic rules. One thing I would also suggest is that it kind of sucks to go somewhere where they "seat" you. It's nice to have the ability to get up, walk around, switch seats easily etc. Otherwise, you don't get to talk to everyone as much. I suppose this depends heavily upon how many people are there. I can't tell you how much I would like to be there, hang out with you all. Truly, it would be very nice to see you people. Is there a list of PAC NW Hubskiers? i'm in Southworth, WA; where the Vashon ferry ends and the Kitsap Peninsula begins. Unfortunately I can't make it to the lil'-apalooza.
The "talking to each other... nowhere loud" rule is the key rule. I couldn't care less about the location as long as that rule is met. I can understand lil wanting a view when she is visiting, but it was hardly required for our meetup with coffeesp00ns, Great place but it wasn't the most scenic. If I had known spoons did not know the city that well I may have suggested somewhere else. :)
