There aren't a lot of drummers that can sing like that and play too.

Buddy Miles, the ultimate singing drummer. Fantastic pocket drummer.

If you like Hendrix and you don't know the Band of Gypsies stuff, he is all over that album.

I would say Dave Grohl, but he's given up the drums in favor of being a front man.

Have to chime in here... I think comparing the two is like comparing apples and hand grenades. They're just way too different. I like both a lot though but it's just not doable.

Levon was a duck on the water when he played. It looked easy and seamless but in reality he's paddling away under the water and it's much more work than it appears. WIth Grohl, you see the paddling.

No comparison; just thinking of drummers who also are awesome singers.

Phil Collins? ... Levon just officially "rolled over".

I like me some Genesis, for sure. Phil on his own, not so much. Although he did inspire this, which is one of my favorite movie scenes. Link probably NSFW.

Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it!

I too like me some Genesis before Phil slowly transformed it from a prog powerhouse to a pop gum ball machine.
