Mary sure had a good run.
Yeah, the name stuck out to me as well. I think that in the past there is more of a sense of the collective. We are Americans, we are united, we are a people. Now, everybody wants to be unique and individual and in that they're choosing the same "unique" names. Pretty funny when you think about it.
What's your top pick for your next kids name?
Boy: Atticus Ahim
Girl: Louisa Lu (Lulu) We like alliteration. You?
Wolfram Alpha has great results for given names. It seems Atticus is blowing up, and people completely stopped naming their kids Louisa in 1970.
We have also considered the name August Audio, but the "Audio" part is a hard-sell to my wife, though I love it. It may be August Ahim of its a boy.
I like both your preferences though! Especially Atticus!
I'm waaayyyy too far removed from the possibility of a child to have given it any thought.
My sister's name is Isabella. She's so upset that it's a popular name now. I like my name (Ricardo), it's not that common I think; the only downside is that all the Ricardos I know are douches...
Sorry to disappoint, but your name is biblical, Hugitout actually appears in Deuteronomy. The Lord your God will raise up a profit from amongst you and his name shall be Hugitout.
Deuteronomy/18/15
Voice to text seems to be revising my fictitious bible verse. But if there is anything religion has been able to do, it's raise money.
Yeah, Steven is a pretty common name, but you don't meet a lot of young kids with it. I may be part of a dying breed.
