I'm getting literally sick reading those kind of stuff.
Letting an entity storing your
- your typing patterns, your walking patterns, your current location, and more
just to avoid typing a password.
And when a few android lazy ass will let it pass (because "convenience") it will become mandatory for anyone except if you accept to live in a cave.
My only hope is that someone will soon publicly share every Google executive's typing patterns, walking patterns, current location, and more
I've honestly kind of given up following this kind of stuff; do they not already store all of that information?
I just responded to an article on the same issue that DragonflyMind just linked. When I read that article, my thought was that people weren't ready to trust an app like that. As I read your comment, I realize that even if they did, it would be an invasion of privacy.
A database full of information like this can't help but be abused, especially in conjunction with location data. Any individual could be targeted accurately for any purpose by whomever holds this data. Hell, this algorithm is probably better equipped to recognize individuals than some people (myself included) are.
