Amazing sound, Amazing lighting. New songs, old songs. And they're in a fine mood for an evening of fun. Filmed yesterday. For all you Neil Young fans, a little treat near the end of the show :)

I try to avoid arenas as much as possible, but when the band is good then you just gotta do it. Doesn't really matter for a seasoned group like them though, their (probably) 15 guitar techs and sound engineers can make any room sound good. I'm jealous. Let us know how it goes :)

I agree, old Radiohead and newer Radiohead are very different bands. I love them both but I still maintain that The Bends is my favorite Radiohead album and one of my favorite albums period.

Thom Yorke himself has said that he can't stand the sound of his own voice. Up until Kid A he tried and tried to sing in a way that would mask, even slightly, the stinging pitch in his vocals (much in the same way he tried to hide his lazy eye). I think after the success of OK Computer, the band went through a bit of a catharsis and I think they're a better band because of it.

In terms of vocals? Yeah I can see that. Maybe because he had less of a role to fill as 'lead singer' that he relaxed a bit and did less crooning. The Eraser is a great album though.

While I don't have time right now to watch this entire concert, I do agree they are amongst the best bands in the world. Thanks for the Neil Young tip off, it sounded fantastic. Thom's voice is well suited for that song.
