This was beautiful, taco. I don't want to say WWI is the forgotten war because it certainly isn't in places like France, but I do think it is constantly overshadowed by WWII in particular. You might appreciate this Dada related post.
I've been watching The Great War channel on YouTube. It's a week-by-week account of WWI as it happened 100 years ago. It gets mentioned on reddit at any appropriate opportunity but it doesn't have that many subscribers so maybe not so many people here know about it: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGreatWar It's pretty good, I just hope they don't run out of material. They jump ahead in quite a few episodes aside from the weekly rundown of events. Also, I'm in that Dada thread being not funny.
What!? That sounds fantastic, definitely going to start watching it. I was not aware that that was a thing. Aw, well it was worth a shot.
The host did an AMA. I asked him an obscure question about baseball which is another of his historical interests. http://www.reddit.com/r/Documentaries/comments/30a0g4/hello_i_am_indy_neidell_host_and_author_of_a/ Something for after a few videos
Oh, you mean this related post? Sorry, just excited about cards
