Theologian + Mowlawner - Nail Bed
Go Fight - The Moscow Drag. Still wishing he'd go back to Die Warzau instead though.
Days N' Daze - Misanthropic Drunken Loser Ghost Factory - Conscience The Front Bottoms - Twin Size Mattress Pretty much just a lot of Folk-Punk and Acoustic. Also, I hope I marked this right.
I got around to listening to Benji, the new Sun Kil Moon album. Netted a 9+ from Pitchfork -- totally deserving. Intimate in a sometimes creepy way. Probably for fans of Elliott Smith or Okkervil River. Don't even think about listening to selected tracks by themselves. Album's on grooveshark. Get to it.
Passenger - Caravan Basically my goal for acoustic guitar.
Been listening to some bands that I saw play a basement over the weekend. Sun Club which was probably my favorite of the night. Super dance-oriented Indie Rock (think bands like Reptar and I guess Vampire Weekend to an extent). That one also has a fun music video. More importantly, you go listen to Vundabar right now because they are insane live. All 100ish people were moshing to this stuff and they blew me away. This was my favorite song on the night from any of the bands. There were three others but these two were my favorites.
The last 2 Jay Daniel EPs have been pretty sweet IMO.
