jaggs just wrote about someone that was taking an existing product and trying to "repackage" it as their own. You can read it here. -I guess it's only a matter of time until people figure out how to game the system.
This kind of thing really makes me mad. Here is an example of an indiegogo campaign that breaks the laws of physics: www.indiegogo.com/projects/517179 I wrote them about it describing how it was basically hogwash, and they said it was "under review". Scammers are the worst of the worst, they all play the game of trust and then abuse that trust to exploit a person. I hate it and I wish there were more I could do about it.
Whoua the "quantum generator" is way beyond the simple re-packaging vyme scam. We're back to the snakes-oil remedy. The worst part is not people trying to scam... It's the system (the platform, kickstarter, indie-gogo, etc) allowing them to do so without any control.
