I've only casually been reading your posts, but that one just forced me to comment. It's not about the article, though it's actually interesting, but about your attitude and conduct.
that already are happening in top-secret, hidden laboratories around the world, they will do so, even if they do not know it! I know that that military side is hidden, and it will be hidden, until all of a sudden, ten or twenty or thirty years from now, very likely a harmless mistake rather than a preplanned attack, the horror will be let loose, and it will be the greatest mistake ever.
Presumptuous, unfounded, screams . Elaborate: what are your sources? Don't hide behind "I'm a CEO" blather that you so like to spew at us and provide some concrete, published and peer-reviewed materials.
I'm usually one of the friendlier people toward newbies, but you are just not getting how this place works despite receiving advice from some of the best contributors. And how! Believe me, back when I was new I wished that guys like cgod and kleinbl00 were half as patient with me as they were with you.
I really hope we can emerge from that horror, but it is truly devastating, and the fact that most of you have no idea is truly unfortunate.
That's just condescending in ways that even I find as obnoxious and rude.
Either start citing sources other than some blog or a press release or shut the fuck up about those doomsday scenarios. Don't resort to conjecture or blog posts or press releases. I mean, you were some CTO - you should have both the maths and know-how, just like surprisingly many people around here. For instance, I made a chess engine, deep learning network to recognise possible ads and a thunderstorm simulator designed to learn how to become more powerful; all of them made from scratch. All done in my spare time. And here's the best part: I'm willing to bet that I'm not even alive for half as long as you most likely are. What are your accomplishment in the field of AI, oh authority? The real ones, not a fucking list of your C-level positions. Come on, I'm sure you can beat accomplishments of someone who's nineteen without resorting to vomiting your job titles.
You got some good advice earlier from others and, believe it or not, even from me. Start using it. It's not that hard to learn it, even for someone equipped with an organic brain. Which it would seem that only you are underestimating.
Normally I would apologise for being a raging arse, but you fucking deserved it. Even the shittiest AI would take the feedback we already provided and learned from it.
 - They might be working like shit but they work.
 - If the translation of the title for your memememobile.com site is correct, then I might use it for that bet. Not sure if I want, though. That place is full of malware. Plus I'm neither a horse nor a jockey.
