Seriously, from a production standpoint, it's hard for the average person to fathom exactly how much went into making her original vocal recordings sound acceptable in that mix.
The amount of pitch bending, subtle auto-tuning, re-sampling, underlying chorus delay (or just really good reverb?)... it's a nightmare.
Hah, thanks, galen, now Reggie Watts's name is permanently soiled for me... he was featured in several of Yoko's "Bad Dancer" scenes. Always nice to see my so-far-spotless icons stumble, makes me realize we're all just constantly gambling on our decisions.

Which dance before me like a million suns.....This may just be me, but Ira Glass' voice makes me want to slam my head against a wall. Every word I hear from him that enters my headphones sends shivers all the way down my spine. I dunno what it is but I can't listen to him for more than an hour. It makes listening to the podcast difficult, heh.
