John Grant - It Doesn't Matter to Him "It doesn't matter to him. I could be anything, but I could never win his heart again.
It doesn't matter to him. He took away my triple A pass, I am invisible to him." This guy is so heart-broken.
It's a tricky album I think. Half of the songs are pretty bad. The other half is bloody brilliant. I'll take that any day though. "I wonder what Ernie Borgnine would do? I got to meet him once and he was really really cool."
Does it have to be new, or just what you've been listening to? I feel like I've been a bit burnt out lately, so everything I've been listening to is a mix of stuff I've been listening to for years (and is mostly non-electronic, which seems to be the overall theme so far, so maybe it will add some contrast). Anyway.... ________________________________________

The Field - From Here We Go Sublime Whole album's been doing it for me this week. Other than that, it's been all Disney music.
As I read this we are watching Mary Poppins. Other than that, I've listened to Jim O'rourke and to The Shins quite a bit this week. Edit: Mary Poppins just said, "enough's as good as a feast." -awesome.
Best "night chase" track EVER. This track is electronic, but outside other genres altogether. "Chill trap"? Robotaki's work is, as usual, just an absurdly well-mixed indie-disco-dance beauty.
Aldnoah has been pretty great. That one-two bunch with Gen and the AOT/KLK musician. My sister and I were buried in exposition that first episode, though. Did you catch that Revo did the opening for the new Sailor Moon? Was not expecting that. Also unabashedly watching it along with Jojo currently. Oh yeah, so what's your favorite P4A track, and why is it the Wandering Wolf?
Protein. Yukiko remains my main though. That OP is surprisingly generic J-Pop, coming from Revo. Not all that surprising given that it is Sailor Moon though. If you like SnK, check out Unicorn. His best released work. Xenoblade X and Aldnoah.Zero sound better based on what little we have heard until now. AZ looks like it will be closer to Ga-Rei-Zero/Guilty Crown than Fate/Madoka.Oh yeah, so what's your favorite P4A track, and why is it the Wandering Wolf?
New (variation of an old) Tim Hecker track
Hunt for the Breeze - Transmission Loop
Really digging last week's Cooper 52 song. If you don't know, Cooper 52 is Ardie Collins's project to write 52 songs in 1 year (1 every week) and upload them to YouTube. They're all pretty great, so check it out! Also a while back he did Cooper 365, which is the same thing but with a song a day. It was awesome. Anyway, here's last week's C52 song, which is a collaboration with Tim Telep:

I got to meet ^ (Gillie Da Kid) back in 2012 right before I moved out of PA. I was in Philly seeing some friends of mine, and they brought me to a party he was throwing. Dude is chill as fuck.
