Yeah, I pretty much agree with all your comments. Though I do like the use of the semi colon sometimes, it can add nice flow to your writing. Though it certainly does have an elitist air around it. By my thesis do you mean my dissertation for the third year of my uni course? If so, it's completed and all my marks are back for this year. I got my personal highest mark for it, and I believe the highest mark in the class! I got 78, which equates to a first class honours, and it may have pushed me high enough for that mark overall. So I'm pretty chuffed. It was entitled "How Has The Coming of Digital Age Changed Approaches To Music and Composition? A look into how technology has affected the technical and psychological aspects of making music". I'll post it up here once all the marks have officially cleared if you're interested? Though it's a good 9,000 - 10,000 words.
