Guess your Google Earth location via context clues. Fun diversion.
Glad to hear it! I was doing a jigsaw puzzle the other day and thought to myself, Gosh, kids could really learn a lot about patience and problem solving and nature all at once just by sitting and doing puzzles occasionally. I think this is similar. A few hours with GeoGuessr is probably more effective than a few chapters of a world geography textbook, and has to be more fun.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonin_Islands Just discovered this. Hint: if you see NOTHING, even on the horizon, it's australia. Game finished!
You got 8516 points in total. BAM!
Awesome little game, and love little geography things like this. Got 11355 on my first try, and never beat that after playing a few rounds. :\ Thanks for sharing this.
This is a really cool little game! Although there's a pretty simple checklist: 1) which side of the road are the cars driving on (this can quickly narrow it down to a few countries (Japan, British Isles, Australia/NZ, India and some others)?; 2) what language are the road signs written in? That got all of my answers in the correct country at least. And it looks like I beat @insomniasexx with 10884 points!
This will be a fun little game to play during work...
Funny; four out of five, for me, were in Brazil.
