I'm considering going undercover into the underground

I was thinking the same thing... but wondered... to what end? I'm not law enforcement, nor do I have ties there. I'm not a journalist, nor do I have ties there. I just couldn't solve the endgame, and couldn't figure out what actual good it might do weighed against the harm I know it would do to my mind.

.

I wondered about the move underground when Twitter banned him. I am simulaneously overjoyed that he's no longer allowed to spew it in the open... but now anywhere people spew is encrypted and much more difficult to attain and use in court.

That's exactly where I'm at.

I guess the only upsides are keeping my own fingers on the pulse of insurrectionists, and being able to report troubling developments and trends to the FBI. It's really sad that the latter of those is something I feel may be necessary. If the FBI et al. have been politicized from the top down, and the rank-and-file were told to ignore pro-Trump social media, it might be harder for them to look the other way if am_U is calling the tip line every day.

A great deal of weight was lifted off my shoulders early last Thursday morning, when Congress finally certified the election. Trump played his hand on the 6th, and I was worried he would hold it until the 20th. Another insurrection attempt is almost impossible to succeed, now.

Sadly, we remain very far from being "done" with all of this. Deprogramming the Trumpists will take years, if it's possible at all.
