Ain't nobody out there going "well, I was going to vote for Biden but shit, now that Kamala Harris is on the ticket FUCK THAT"

Maybe? He might have picked someone that would get me to vote for him but that person isn't Kamala.

I know, I know, I'm bigoted against prosecutors, and I think she's nothing but a sail that goes with the wind, all political opportunist with no core governing philosophy or moral north star (it's why she couldn't get any traction in the primary, people could smell that she was full of shit). There are things about her record that I think disqualify her from polite society let alone the vice presidency but they are law and order moral failures so they don't count.

Joe could make some cabinet picks that would sway me but I'm pretty sure he won't announce any of his picks until after the election. Joe will do as little as possible as long as he is in the lead and if something really needs to be done they'll try their damnedest to get other people and their money to do it.

Before you all start screaming at me that I have to vote for Joe, realize I live a place where my vote matters not at all in the presidential election. If you are going to give me the running up the tally to fight back when he refuses to leave office speech, tell it to your pet or a loved one because I don't give a rats ass. Joe Biden is the candidate of War and Wealth and I'd never pick him to rule shit.

Ask a friend who Hilary's running mate was and they will usually go blank. I don't know if that reflects well or poorly on the Biden campaign but I think she'll be remembered. It probably doesn't mean anything at all. Kamala is a better nominee than Sara Palin or Dan Quail but Vice Presidents don't normally move the needle much in elections.

She will probably be helpful to Joe, she has real world skills and experience leading big bureaucracies. She can probably hone INS back to being an calm cool and quiet immigrant disposal department. I bet she will be right at the center of suppressing the free flow of information and the harassment of journalist (she'll make old Obama proud). I don't think she'll be Dick Cheney level useful unless old Joe really has gone senile but I think she'll be a very hard working and useful member of the administration as long as she can get along with Biden's people.

It's hilarious to see all the glorification stories in the Times today. The whole top of the front page is stories about how amazing she is, complete with soft lit pictures of her staring off into the distance. What a fucking joke. You live in OR, but I live in MI, so I sort of have to vote for her (assuming Joe dies at some point in his term). I despise her and every other senator who railroaded Franken, but especially her because of her suspect record as AG of California. I consider this an almost worst case scenario Democrat ticket.

There was an explosion of slick pieces praising her on Twitter last night. It was meant to look like an upswell of popular acclaim but it was obviously prearranged.
