It seems like there was a significant turn out last night. It's a weekend and people are upset about the feds. A city council woman did something early evening which may have brought out some additional people. They shut down Riot Ribs a on street restaurant that fed homeless and protesters and that pissed people off.
The Police went after people.
The Feds went after people.
Naked Lady challenged the feds.
And ran them off.
I think the feds are here to make stuff worse. It gives the president an outlet and lets the nation see what a big dick he has. If he thinks it's helping him with his image get ready for this to spread to more places.
Well, actually, public nudity is legal in Oregon. I guess it'd be a bit easier to accuse them of sexual harassment? Doesn't hurt that she's in shape. Problem is the "them" part. Nameless, badgeless, federal goons from DHS and/or CBP is all we know. The full spread was absolutely hilarious. Go her! I'm not sure how to square that with what I'm sure would be a completely different outcome for a man helicopter'ing or whatever at them. What a night it must've been out there. That first video, though. WTF?
You can be arrested if your nudity is deemed obscene, the DA is pretty reluctant to lose another nudity case, not really worth it. It might have been worth putting the naked girl on the ride even if she could beat the charge but it wouldn't help in win hearts and minds, which the cops are going to need in contract negotiations. That first video is the new normal. Even though there was a ton of gas last night I couldn't find any real good shots. It's soo spicy downtown now a days. One of my favorite journalist was quoted saying "Wow, I haven't been gassed this bad in days!" What a horrible true thing to say.
#1 - Public nudity is legal. #2 - If they arrested her, they would have to fill out a form that would have their name on it. Notice none of them were wearing any kind of identification or insignia... no name, no rank, no branch of the police forces; just cosplaying as soldiers against civilians.
