cgod mentioned that it was useful for getting people into his coffee shop. We found a great daycare on it. But I gave up on it when the utility got buried under (a) posts bitching about election results (b) posts bitching about dogs and fireworks (c) posts complaining about suspicious people driving around. My wife gave up on it when there was a post about a suspicious car with a man and a woman who pulled into the cul-de-sac, checked their phone and then drove away.
