despite them laying out the results of some scientific studies... my brain still thinks this isn't a scientific explanation for the mystery... I'm not really challenging the author(s), I'm kinda challenging my own mind. This is interesting to say the least.
Yeah, I also thought the author could've more deeply explored their own explanation for the mystery. Nevertheless, I thought that despite that it was interesting enough and I'm glad you agree. For what it's worth, in my uni days I used to smoke a lot of weed. Whenever I'd come home during the holidays, it always felt as though I got much higher, even when I smoked less. My friend who I'd always chill with expressed similar feelings too. Sure, anecdotal evidence. But it's intriguing that there might be something more to these experiences that I'd previously written of as a placebo or illusion of some sort.
