I would not be disappointed to see a little tarring and feathering.Let's hope it stays civil at the very least.
I had thought tarring and feathering was usually fatal, and I've long said I'd never cheer anyone's death (except Scalia). Wikipedia seems to think I was wrong, in which case I'd love to see a little tarring and feathering.
See, it's shit like this that makes me think conspiracy theorists may have a point.
Nah, this isn't like the stuff the conspiritards come up with. As whoever wrote it says, They used whatever influence they could to keep Trump from getting shut down by cooler heads, but he got the nomination because he actually represents the clowns that make up base of the Republican party. They used the last half-century of Republican strategy against them, but they didn't force Trump on anyone. In this scenario, we don’t want to marginalize the more extreme candidates, but make them more “Pied Piper” candidates who actually represent the mainstream of the Republican Party.
Sure, but I think I perhaps overcorrect the other way when it comes to this kind of thing. I wonder what they actually did to effect this?
