Even if true, wouldn't rural/suburban area provide much easier options to avoid killing anyone? You are suddenly not inside what's basically a corridor of buildings.

I don't know, car carries five people, breaks fail. You can:

- Crash on the nearby barrier.

- Kill a jaywalking child.

- Turn right and go into the mellioration ditch and slightly damage the car.

That's hardly a moral decision that I would expect of Hubski!

When people panic and swerve they don't always end up were they intend to swerve too. Only swerve for moose and hope for the best.

Well, yes. But it's not about a human driver. Or did I got you wrong and you meant other people, ones that would be picked as 'target', panicking and running around?

When I say the people can move I mean the people who see a car speeding at them can run away. Funny because I get the self driving car reference now but before I wondered why they were to lazy to draw a driver in the car.
