I am in love with the #weatherballoon tag and will be making use of it.

You need to check out the #aliens tag.

Somebody doubted me when I said it was a comsat. I wish to feed them crow but google is not providing me my dining partner.

It was me. I didn't doubt you specifically. I mused about why they wouldn't have ruled that out in a like a minute, because it's pretty easy to tell if something is in orbit around the earth. I was questioning you in the sense that, "It can't be that, because they wouldn't bother publishing this if it was something so easily verifiably wrong."

So in other words, it wasn't that you had faith in aliens it's that you had faith in the free motion of information in the former Soviet republic.

Which is odd, considering you're the guy who told me to read Richard Pipes.

HAHAHAHA. I feel shame.

This reminds me a lot of those jags who published about faster-than-light particles. I figured something was wrong there too, but I didn't figure that their calibrations were just incorrect, because isn't that the first thing you would check?
