Hard-won tip from mixing a half-dozen seasons of cooking shows: Presentation matters. You eat with your eyes first and it sets your anchor for food expectations. This is literally dog food with parsley. Wipe the bowl, spoon it carefully, and you can even like drizzle a little chili oil or something on it and it will not only look better, it'll actually taste better. Now you know why fancy restaurants serve their soup in a bowl on a plate on a charger on a white placemat.
Probably, but meh. The fact that we're cooking at all these days is a marvel of coordination and time management.
Great looking picture and recipe! My mom and I went shopping for the ingredients and made ourselves some tikka masala two weeks ago. I didn't know that most Americanized recipes literally call for sugar as an ingredient. Retrospectively, it makes a sort of sense. And speaking of colors, I love me some nuclear orange Indian food.
