If only you believe in miracles, so do I.
OK, hubski, would you believe that I saw the Jefferson Airplane back in the White Rabbit days?
His death bummed me more than others. Jefferson Airplane is one of the "classic rock" (whatever that means) bands I liked in high school that I still sort of like. Seeing White Rabbit live must have been very cool. I want to say I'm jealous, but we all live our own lives, and I've enjoyed the things I've seen.
I was 14, I think, and in Grade 9. Wow wow wow - and then they did a free concert at city hall with the Grateful Dead. It was very long ago, in a province far away.we all live our own lives
and share them occasionally. I started a tag called #deadmusicians -- There's been a lot lately.
The musicians I follow are still under 50, and thankfully none have died. The worst I've suffered is bands dissolving, people disappearing, and styles moving away from what I like. I did see Lou Reed perform with Metric shortly before his death. I believe it was his second to last public performance before he passed.
