The study suggests those who have a larger goddamn vocabulary of swear words also have a larger vocabulary. The study also considered how quickly one of those assholes can recall those vocabularies. Just because someone says fuck a lot does not indicate lingual intelligence. It is one's ability to be creative and quick witted that is more of an indicator as to whether they are a fucking moron or not.
It directly refutes the asinine hypothesis that the use of profanity results from a paucity of a person's damn vocabulary.
I really hope this email works. edit: Nevermind. I found it in the wild! Dear Mr. Jay,
I'm very interested in your article "Taboo word fluency and knowledge of slurs and general pejoratives: deconstructing the poverty-of-vocabulary myth". However, I am no longer affiliated with a college. Could you please send me a copy of this article? I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you.

A couple summers ago I visited a distillery on The Isle of Skye in northern Scotland. The walls of the visitor center were adorned with quotes from Samuel Johnson, as he apparently spent a lot of time on Skye. In a nod to what douchebags they were making of themselves by decorating their walls with S quotes, one of the them simply read, "The weather here is not pleasant."
