The problem might be that there are different types of search motivations, and those are not always being accurately detected. As far as news and information goes, Google feels like a funnel and not much of a directory of information.
It isn't that I've lost my boob picture collection. I'm not trying to find it. When I do lose a link to some cool thread or picture, I use google to try to find it. And it rarely returns the right result without some tweaks, usually because I'm choosing the wrong selection of words. How will asking Siri "hey I need that youtube video I saw at Joey's house 2-6 months ago that had that really awesome cat that did that face thing. Can you find it for me?" going to accomplish anything?
