I officially edit over-long low-budget feature films that about two critics at a festival might actually watch. I have been on an unofficial break for six months, though. In that time, I've been selling an apartment in London, UK and buying my dream cottage by a lake in Burgundy, France. I've also been getting to spend a lot of time with this guy:
Holy shit, what does the cottage look like? Gorgeous dog by the way; I know nothing about dogs but I'm really starting to love them now– the big and fluffy ones that you can pet your heart and soul into.I've been selling an apartment in London, UK and buying my dream cottage by a lake in Burgundy, France.
I move in on August 19th... be prepared for bombardment of idyllic photos! The dog's name is Arthur. He's a collie.
He's my first dog, actually - I knew nothing about them before I got him - and I've learned more from him about how to treat humans than I ever learned from people.
Would recommend :)
Hey there, how is life in the dream cottage in Burgundy? I hope that all is well with you and Arthur!
Congrats on fulfilling your dream! I have a couple of dream houses but the common theme with all of them is that I want to live with lots of nature around. Not too isolated though. Also, I really want a tree house. You have such a cute dog! This is my dog and she is my first dog too. She's a husky mix.
She's BEAUTIFUL! Those eyes :)
Do you need to put sunblock on her nose?
Yup, they were my criteria, too! Did you find this need for nature to become more acute after getting your dog? I did. I mean, beforehand I thought a view of an urban park or whatever would be fine, but after having my dog I realized that what I was actually looking for was full-on countryside.
That's what I ended up with, too- a meadow, a wood, a lake :) I'd send a link but I'm not sure how hubski feels about posting personal info (is there a policy on this, mk?)!

Thank you :D Nope, she doesn't need sunblock as we only walk her in the early mornings or in the evenings. Ever since I was young, I've loved nature and animals. Unfortunately, it got buried as I grew up because everybody around me discouraged me. It was only in University that I re-discover I am happiest around nature/animals. Also, the compulsory overseas immersion program (where I studied in Washington for 3 months) reinforces it significantly. It was the happiest time of my life. But I missed my dog a lot :( You can PM me. I wish I don't live in a city so I can build my treehouse!I'd send a link but I'm not sure how hubski feels about posting personal info
