More of a "oh god I was asleep and then I woke up and now my chest hurts a lot and I can't catch my breath or stop shaking" situation. Close enough I guess.

I was told it was likely either a panic attack (as b_b said), or a muscle spasm. Either occurred while I was asleep, and I haven't experienced either before. Only slightly terrifying. edit: tempted to rule out panic attack since I felt the pain a bit more while I was at the grocery. Short-lived, and no other effects, but still.
