Only seven will be made, six for clients and one for the Patek museum.
Cool. I own a 1909 Waltham pocket watch, 19 jewels which was required for train station-master precision back in the day. Inside are engravings on many of the surfaces, some of which can only be seen if the watch is disassembled. Engravings by the watchmaker that will only ever be seen by other watchmakers.
No. I think so much of the "apple is GEEEEENIUS" discussion talks about the potential within the luxury watch market. And I think the luxury watch market, which geeks out over tourboullions(sp) and 15 jewel movements aren't the least bit interested in shit made by FoxConn. I own two Yeswatches. I'm kind of intrigued by the Moto but the iWatch was one of the things that actually pushed me into Android. It represents a future focus that I abhor.
Great video! I like their simple watches better tho. I mean I guess they had to make to supper expensive watch flashy but in my opinion classy is way better than flashy usually. If I could chose any watch from Patek Phillipe, i'd much rather have something like this: http://www.patek.com/contents/default/en/5227G_001.html
