Going through my collection tonight, I've never listened to my Wombles record. It's pretty cool
I have no idea what I just watched, but Wikipedia made The Wombles sound oddly familiar... I wonder if I ever saw the TV show as a kid.
Yeah, after reading the wikipedia entry, I too feel like I've seen/heard them before. Maybe I watched the show as a kid?
I have no idea why this happened, but as I read the title to this song my mind immediately went to "Remember: You're here forever" which is a poorly remembered version of a simpson's quote "Don't Forget: You're here forever". I have no idea what that says about me, or my thought process, but I'm curious what it says about the Wombles.
Is anyone here familiar with them? I'd be interested in knowing more. I inherited the album and the first side is pretty interesting.
