Went to a concert last night and saw the following bands, it was an incredible show and just validates why I love Anticon Collective so much.

P. Morris - Hold Tight. am_Unition, I think you'd dig this! Good and danceable electronic music. I'd never heard of him before last night. You'll definitely like the Baths track below.

Young Fathers - I Heard. These guys put on an intense set. Took stage, started playing, super loud and harsh at first and a ton of stage energy. They closed with this song and finished it a Capella with the crowd and then just walked off stage.

Baths - Ocean Death. This is a new track from his upcoming EP that he played last night. It's footage of the show and once this song gets going it's incredible. Love Baths.

I thought Obsidian was a great album, though I don't know if I like it more than I like Cerulean. Dude puts on a great show too, I saw him about 6 months back.

Agreed. I love both but they really are a lot different. I think Obsidian has more mass appeal. The compression is also a lot less striking. But I am a sucker for cool percussion tracks and Cerulean is one of the best in that department I'd say.

He really really refined his sound-design and mixing for Obsidian. The amount of clean little hand-crafted details in it is pretty wonderous.

It was insane. I was expecting the falsetto to sound great and for some cool improvisation with the electronic side of it, but I was not expecting the parts where he just started screaming the lyrics and going crazy.

I think I like Obsidian more, but not by a wide margin. My love for the second half of that album is great.
