I also rarely read http://harpers.org/ or http://www.newyorker.com/
Now, I realize that I'm a late bloomer and I'm very appreciative for all I've gleaned here but I'm wondering... what are the cards you're holding close to your vest?
What are your secret places you go for amazing articles/videos/images...content? What are the places that make you think?
http://feeds.feedburner.com/mediaredef I have a bunch of RSS feeds but I've been too busy to check them for like 6 days. I'd list them for you but I'm afraid to open Newsrack. I read The Daily Beast's cheat sheet every morning and am subscribed to The Week, Saudi Aramco World, Scientific American, Conde Nast Traveler, Outside, Men's Fitness, Writer's Digest and Garden and Gun. The Week I pay for. Saudi Aramco World is free. Scienfic American I'm gonna let slide. Writer's Digest was a recommendation. The rest were because I had survey money that was going to go to waste because my survey site had fewer and fewer places to redeem. I'm not sure which is funnier - Outside, Men's Fitness or Garden & Gun. Garden & Gun is a fucking hilarious magazine, particularly for a desert-raised Pacific Northwest ex-pat living in Los Angeles.
I'm not sure which is funnier - Outside, Men's Fitness or Garden & Gun. -My money's on Garden and Gun, sounds interesting. Thanks for the recommendations, I look forward to the HirschHorn emails. Hope all is well in the world of zombie audio engineering.
is a great place to read insightful articles and discover new blogs. I usually read at least three articles a day from this place. http://www.berfrois.com/ is another great place.
