Not important.

Anyway, are you talking about a specific brand, or some broad variety? A specific brand will obviously be more interesting but also more difficult, since it means that only very widely available wines can be picked. Also, make sure that you're price conscious when coming up with ideas, because I assume that could be an issue in a lot of cases.

I've been hitting the wine a lot harder than normal recently, because I started hanging out with a girl who has celiac, which makes beer and whiskey drinking impossible for her. I can't say I mind. It's about damn time I start to integrate more into my rotation.

I go through cycles and I'm actually in a wine phase. I love wine, a lot. I agree that choosing a specific varietal and region might be the best call for ease. Not all wines are available everywhere. We should also pick a price point, I think that between 10 and $20 will make it approachable for everyone.

Varietal -Pinot Noir? State - Oregon?

I'll head to the wine store today and see what's what. How does that sound though for our first varietal and region?

I like Irony. (That was the wine I was trying to find the other day.)
